Artists
For perspective artists, we are looking for 3-4 samples of artwork along with a portfolio. We require that all pieces are completed works and that at least one piece is FE3H-centric. Judging of samples will be based on composition, use of colour, among other factors.✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦Writers
For perspective writers, we are looking for 3-4 samples of writing between 1k and 4k, along with a portfolio. We require that at least one piece is completed and another is FE3H-centric. Judging of samples will be based on characterisation, pacing,and other factors.✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦Merch Artists
For perspective merch artists, we are looking for 3-4 samples of artwork along with a portfolio. We require that all pieces are completed works. Previous experience is not required. The zine will be a charity zine. The recipient charity will be announced at a later time.

Can I apply for more than one position?
Yes, you may apply to any position. In certain circumstances, some applicants may be accepted for multiple positions.

How old do I have to be to apply?
Contributors for the main zine must be at least 16 years old at the time of application. However, contributors for the NSFW zine must be at least 18 years old to apply.

How many contributor slots will be available to applicants?
Including guests, we expect to accept 25 artists, 8-10 writers, and 5 merch artists. These numbers are subject to change.

How will contributors be compensated for their participation?
All contributors will receive a digital copy of the zine as a minimum. Should funds allow, contributors will also receive a physical copy of the zine, and merch artists will be received a copy of their work.
Full distribution of merch for all contributors, whether provided for free or at production cost, will be determined by the profitability of the zine. If we break even, shipping will be covered, otherwise contributors will be asked to pay for their individual shipping fees.

What are the contributor expectations?
Page Artists' contributions will be an A5 sized canvas in CMYK with 300 dpi.
Merch artists' contributions will be done in CMYK, but will have different specs depending on the piece of merch that artists are assigned.
Alternate Media Creators' contributions will be vary based on the type of media.
Writers will be expected to create a piece ranging from 2.5k to 3k words.

What is "Alternative Media"?
Alternative Media is any type of media suitable for a zine that does not fit into the "art, writing, and merch" categories. Examples would be cosplay, poetry, music, embroidery, recipes, etc.
